By organizing regular virtual and in-person convenings for the monitoring and de-escalation sectors, building and maintaining online spaces for real-time collaboration, hosting shared issue briefings, and actively facilitating individual relationship-building, BDI is uniquely positioned to strengthen the necessary cross-sector “network of nodes” required to mitigate political violence in the short term and build sustainable community efforts in the long term.
