Bio/Description
Alyssa Milem is an Early Warning Researcher with the Bridging Divides Initiative. Before joining BDI, Alyssa completed her Master's in Conflict Resolution at Georgetown University, where she studied mediation, conflict forecasting, and political violence prevention. Her academic research focused on the role of historical memory disputes in fractured, post-conflict societies. Alyssa has also worked in humanitarian research and U.S. electoral politics with organizations like the Stimson Center, FairVote, and the Red Cross Red Crescent. In addition to her MA, she holds a BA in Political Science from Western Washington University.
