Emmett Willford is an Early Warning Researcher with the Bridging Divides Initiative. Since joining BDI as a Research Assistant in March 2022, they have monitored conflict drivers across the U.S relating to community defense, extremism, and threats and harassment against public officials. They have particular experience with and interest in the political violence landscape of the southeastern U.S. They hold a BA in psychology from Princeton University.
